Julie wears a lot of different hats at the loft. She answers the phone, sews the spinnakers, maintains the sewing machines, sweeps, mops, makes bags and does the nesting and plotting. Julie started sailing as a child with her grandfather and uncle cruising along the shores of Lake Pontchartrain, the Gulf Coast and along the coast of Southern California. After college Julie found her love of racing. Besides sailing in local events Julie has competed in events across the US from Whidbey Island to Key West to Galveston to Block Island as well as regattas in the Caribbean and offshore events to Mexico and Havana.
